FAQ

What is the role of a tutor?

The role of a tutor is to provide additional assistance to students with not only coursework but strategies to help for their future. Tutors are not course instructors. They are not substitutes for attending class and they are not responsible for teaching the course material. Rather, tutors are available to help students clarify course content and develop effective ways to learn the material. Tutors also provide learning resources and study strategies that students can utilize.

How much improvement can I expect from working with a tutor?

It all depends on your child's starting score, goals, and the amount of effort put in. Applying hard work, consistency, and practice to reaching goals with and without your tutor. We can together achieve success.

How does Teach Inspire Transform determine what my child needs?

Prior to booking a session, Teach Inspire Transform will meet with your child to assess their current academics. Parents will be provided with a report at the end of the assessment which breaks down their child's strengths and areas in need of growth.

How can tutoring help my child build confidence?
Teach Inspire Transform tutors understand that lack of self-confidence hinders our capability to grow. We cultivate inspiration not motivation. Motivation is work. Inspiration comes from within. A yarning to learn, which then open capabilities and builds confidence.
